Jr. Mean Stack Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior MEAN Stack Developer (Backend) with 2–3 years of experience to help us build and maintain scalable SaaS applications. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle—from concept to deployment. This role requires hands-on experience with Node.js (preferably NestJS/Express.js), MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and ElasticSearch, along with a solid foundation in frontend development using React/Next.js.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 2+ years of experience as a MEAN Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js.
  • Experience building frontend applications using React, or Next.js.
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (LESS/SASS), and JavaScript for both client and server sides.
  • Experience integrating ElasticSearch and PostgreSQL into applications.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture and design patterns in full-stack development.
  • Experience working on high-traffic, consumer-facing web applications is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Qualifications:
  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable and performant backend services using Node.js.
  • Build responsive, high-quality frontends React/Next.js.
  • Define code architecture decisions to support scalability and maintainability.
  • Create secure and scalable RESTful APIs (XML/JSON).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, researchers, and QA engineers.
  • Maintain and optimize existing codebase and troubleshoot issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of software practices and standards.
